shoes vs savings account

after reading an article posted on huffingtonpost this morning, i realized that i probably wasn't in their target audience. its not that i didn't know that before, but after this morning i finally came to grips with it. when i usually read their fashion articles, i can for the most part relate and feel the same way. its the ones that suggest what you should buy that i get completely abandoned by them. so that leads me to my article that i read this morning.

the article published was about sensible shoes that are still stylish. they let you dance the night away, strut up and down the mall, or look irresistible on a date night without smooshing your little nuggets. this article screamed to me- recently i went to a party and i thought my new leopard pumps were going to be the perfect piece to my outfit, lets just say i might as well have gone and put a $100 on black that night at the casino. my odds of winning are higher than the odds of me EVER wearing those pumps again. so whats the problem with the article you might ask? the problem i have is with the shoes they found, and I'm not talking about how the shoes' looked but I'm referring to the price tags that came with the shoes. as i was flipping through the slide show of shoes, i started to realize that i had seen plenty of shoes like that before, but they weren't near that expensive. so i gave my self a mission this morning- to find not only SENSIBLE shoes with STYLE, but SENSIBLE shoes with STYLE and an AFFORDABLE PRICE TAG
